Award Categories

COVID-19 Response Award

Scotland’s health and social care sector has been at the frontline of the battle against COVID-19. As well as dealing with the direct effects of the virus, the health and social care sector has seen non-COVID services face significant disruption. Innovation has been crucial during this period, and this award will celebrate one of the many technological solutions that have been rapidly developed and deployed since March 2020 to keep Scotland’s health and social care system running.

Innovative Mental Health Services Award

COVID-19 has placed significant pressure on many people’s mental health, whilst simultaneously reducing their ability to access appropriate services. This award will celebrate an individual or organisation that has used an innovative digital approach to continue the delivery of mental health support during this incredibly challenging period.

Technology Enabled Independent Living Award

Supporting independent living and self-managed care is a key component of Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy. Digital technology can play a huge role in empowering individuals to manage their own care journey. This award celebrates the individuals and organisations from across health, social care, housing and the third sector, who are embracing technology to support more people to live independently.

Industry Collaboration Award

Partnership working between innovative private sector vendors and the public sector is vital to achieving wide scale transformation of health and social care services. Developing a partnership that delivers positive outcomes for the public isn’t always straightforward. This award will recognise a private sector supplier that has demonstrated effective collaboration with a public or third sector client to deliver a successful digital transformation project.

Digital Health and Care Team Award

True transformation is rarely delivered by one individual – indeed, it benefits from a range of perspectives and skills. This award recognises teams across Scotland’s health and social care sector who have developed their skills and internal culture to deliver transformative digital projects that have improved the delivery of services.

Digital Leader Award

Our Digital Leader Award recognises an individual that has played a key role in creating the environment and culture that has enabled a successful, large scale digital transformation project within health and social care.
